Helen Elizabeth Sneed

     Helen Elizabeth Sneed, 96, of Peoria, passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Rosewood Care Center of Peoria.
     Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Oakland Cemetery in Moulton, IA, with Pastor Terra Amundson officiating. There will be no visitation.
     Helen was born in Moravia, IA on March 19, 1915, a daughter of James B. and Helen (Carson) Sneed. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, the Reverend James Richard Sneed; and one niece. She is survived by her niece, Carol Hinds of Desert Hot Springs, CA.
     Helen was a 1932 graduate of Moravia High School and retired as a teacher for District 150 in Peoria. She was of the Methodist faith.
     Arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 428 West McClure Avenue, in Peoria.
